Cleveland wins game 2

Last nights game was a much tougher win, but all the more enjoyable. It went into the 11th Inning, and the score was 2-1. I called Bill, but I couldn't hear anything he was saying due to the uproar of the crowd in Mitchells.

Game three is in New York on Sunday.

Game 1 goes to Cleveland

You know I'm so freaking (you adults know what I mean) happy that Cleveland finally beat NY. I'm @#$#@$#@$ ecstatic. I was a wonderful game to watch.

But let me tell you, this is what I love about NY style. When I got home from watching the ballgame at Mitchell's, I had a voice mail, from Bill.

He said that we did a great job...wait, I'm drunk, and I want to quote this...brb...

"You guys did very well today, we'll see how tomorrow goes, I'm actually waiting to go to Sunday's game.
I'll take my picture there hahahah."

"Good game. 1st game, you waxed our ass good, but tomorrow is another day.

He wished us congratulations on our game, but said we'll see how the series goes.

Now that is CLASS.

No bitching.

No moaning about umpires, or pitching, or weather or any of that other crap.

I got a lot of respect for a man who gives credit where it's due, but keeps in mind the future.

Can I pick friends, or what?

Best of luck to you, Bill, but I still hope to see you wearing an Indian's cap.

Cleveland Indians vs NYY revisited

Bill has accepted the new terms. I mailed him this hat, just so he'd have something to wear after the series. I'm sure it's hard to find an Indian's baseball hat in New York.

Bill's wife sent a new picture of him and Peter, of course at a Yankee's game....Peter has gotten much bigger since the last picture.

I hired a police sketch artist to make this rendition of how Bill will look, wearing his new hat. You can tell he likes it by the big smile on his face.

World Series Tickets!

My friend Rick gets season tickets to the Indian's games, going in with a few of his friends. A few weeks ago he mentioned that he had a chance at a World Series ticket, should Cleveland get that far, and that he was looking for someone who might want to go, but they'd have to buy their own ticket. Before he could tell me how much it cost, I told him I'd go. Then he told me it would be $225, and I asked if he wanted a check, or cash, that I could have the money for him the next day. Over last weekend, they had the drawing for tickets, and we got Game 7. He said that we could probably get 1500 bucks per ticket, if it got that far, and I said no way. That's like getting a $1500 ticket for $225. I'm not selling mine. He's not selling his either. Like he said, it's all or nothing.

So, here I am, not even a sports nut, and I got a slim chance at going to a World Series game. Well, it would be pretty cool if it worked out that way, especially if we won. I know it's still a loooong way off, and first, I have to get Bill to wear an Indian's hat....
