This is the easy part... still got a long way to go. Damn pants got caught on the latch-hook too. I thought I was going to have to wriggle out of them!

Life is good

I was thinking yesterday just how good my life is:

I've got a nice house that will soon be paid for(it still needs some work, though).

I've got a great job that's close to home, and I've been lucky to be employed when many aren't.

I truly enjoy my job, and I like going to work, though when it's time to retire, I'm sure I'll find other things to keep me busy.

I've got some awesome friends, who I spend most of my time with going out to dinner, dancing, seeing movies, hiking, and generally enjoying life.

I've got a great family that I don't see often enough.

I'm in excellent health, and not to old to learn new things.

I've got all the toys I want: motorcycle, sports car, pick-up truck, power tools (ruff ruff!).

I sleep well every night knowing that the choices I've made were the right choices.

All in all, life is good.

I hope all of my friends and family can say the same, or are at least on track to be able to say the same in the future!

Finally. Spring!

It's still cold out, but the sunshine is warm. I see little plants popping up after raking the leaves left over from last fall. I should probably fertilize the lawn today.

Over the weekend, I got the motorcycle, the Mustang, and the lawnmower out of the garage. All started with little or no trouble, though the lawnmower took some effort. It won't be long now before I'll be cruising on two wheels, or with the top down.

I'm hoping to cook out before too long. Nothing fancy, just some hot dogs over a split-log fire followed by marshmallows. Damn. Now I'm hungry...

New Year's Eve Dinner and Dancing

I don't know why I had such a hard time posting this. The first time I tried was January 3rd. Today, I see it as a Draft, and it posted just fine. Anyway, I've been busy with other stuff, and haven't been to my blog in awhile.

I've been practicing with my friends for several weeks for this event.  It occurred last Saturday, November 20th at Great Northern Mall, and again at Southpark Mall, in Strongsville.



My dance partner is Lauren.  We met at classes, became friends, and now have great fun dancing together.  In the background are some of my other friends, Danelle is dancing with Ed.  Laura is dancing with Gil.  Deb is dancing with Dave.  Val (my instructor) is started the dance off with her partner, Alex, as well as Jenn and Matt.
